This is what you might call a soft-open. The Perspectivists is live and the idea of a perspectivist approach to life is now out there, even if it is barely a sketch at this point.
This idea came into focus in late 2019, when I realized that it might be good for me to articulate just what my own philosophy of life was. For the most part I hadn't said it out loud. I was something of a chameleon, to atheists I looked like an atheist and was fascinated by atheist arguments, but, given my background, I could probably also pass as a Christian to Christians, and enjoyed exploring (and inventing) other more unusual life philosophies.
So I decided to try to articulate where exactly I stood, and when I did, I realized both that few people explained it all the way I did, but also that many others saw things similarly. I don't know how many others might see in alignment with perspectivist approaches, but the one way to find out is to create a way to tell the story of the perspectivist approach.
So here we are. The site, as it launches today, is very much a work in progress. You can barely even find out what perspectivism even is on it today. But that's how we make things these days, build a bit, get it done and out there, build some more. It'll be a while before the site is really ready to view, but you can watch as it gets made.
